Slowly Dying Ears! ... الأذن .. حين تموت .. ببطء!

Going out with a friend in Cairo, I jumped into his car, put the seat belt on, and off we went looking for a great outing together to catch up all the past months in which we haven't met!
Our chat started right away. Unbelievable how nothing can replace a face to face conversation! He started talking on and on, but I couldn't easily follow him...an annoying continuous BEEP was screaming in the background and getting louder by the minute. He seemed not even noticing it...! Thought I went nuts, I had to interrupt him asking if he hears what I hear. He stopped talking and focused deeply to check...and then a big laugh:
"Ah...that's the seat belt alarm...the beep goes on to remind me of the seat belt which I stopped using...you know, I got used to this BEEP, I even Stopped hearing it..."

I am sure we all have one of those "non-alarm-hearing-friends"...those whose ears have been slowly dying overtime and their hearing went lifeless facing the seat belt alarm!

Don't mock them...those people (including myself) existed throughout history, long before the seat belt. They are mentioned across the bible...but their case is a more dangerous one...
It is a case of an eternal danger!

“Hear this message, you foolish people who have no sense. You have eyes, but you don’t see! You have ears, but you don’t listen!”

And even Jesus assertively to His disciples mentioned so:
“This is why I use these stories to teach the people: They see, but they don’t really see. They hear, but they don’t really hear or understand. So they show that what Isaiah said about them is true: ‘You people will listen and listen, but you will not understand. You will look and look, but you will not really see. Yes, the minds of these people are now closed. They have ears, but they don’t listen. They have eyes, but they refuse to see. If their minds were not closed, they might see with their eyes; they might hear with their ears; they might understand with their minds. Then they might turn back to me and be healed.’ Isaiah 6:9-10”

I pray that TODAY All deaf ears would hear once again the Alarms beeping around us...
Alarms that want to save us when the hit should come...
When trial attacks...
When temptation sneaks in...
and when the roaring sea rages to devour all what we hold onto dearly in our weakest moments!

May The Holy Spirit bring life to your ears!

خرجت مع صديق في القاهرة، ركبت "عربيته" ، إستخدمت حزام الأمان بتلقائية، وبدأنا في التفكير في مكان ل "خروجة جامدة" في محاولة لإستكشاف كل ما فاتني في هذه الشهور القليلة التي لم نتقابل فيها!
الكلام بدأ بسهولة عجيبة،
حقيقي .. لايوجد أسهل من لقاء وجه لوجه وكأنما لم أسافر أو أتغيب
ومع الكلام، شيئاً بدأ يضايقني، يضغط على أعصابي، غيظ بدأ يتكون ويكبر وهو لا يلاحظ اي شئ إطلاقاً.. ولم استطع متابعة كلمة من كلامه 
قاطعته : ألا تسمع ؟؟؟ هذة الصفارة الصارخة المتكررة الُملِحة؟
سكت صديقي منصتاً لفترة ثم أجاب ضاحكاً: آه .. دي الزَنّة بتاعت الحزام .. إنت سمعتها إزاي؟! أنا أتعودت ومابقتش بسمعها خالص من وقت ما بطلت موضوع الحزام دة!

بالتأكيد كلنا نعرف أصدقاء تكونت لديهم هذه القدرة .. "الأ صدقاء .. الذين .. لا يسمعون .. الانذارات"
هؤلاء .. الذين آذانهم تدريجياً .. تموت،
وسمعهم أصبح كأنما بلا حياة.. تجاه إنذار حزام الأمان

هل تشعر بحماقتهم أو الرغبة في السخرية منهم؟
لا تفعل
فمثلهم كثيرون (وأولهم أنا) منذ أقدم التاريخ.. قديما قبل إكتشاف حزام الأمان
مذكورين كثيراً وبوضوح في الكتاب المقدس،
ولكن حالتهم أكثر خطورة من متجاهلي حزام الأمان
إنهم في حالة من " الخطر الأبدي" 
“اِسْمَعْ هَذَا أَيُّهَا ٱلشَّعْبُ ٱلْجَاهِلُ وَٱلْعَدِيمُ ٱلْفَهْمِ، ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌ وَلَا يُبْصِرُونَ. لَهُمْ آذَانٌ وَلَا يَسْمَعُونَ.”
‮‮إِرْمِيَا‬ ‭5:21‬ ‭‬‬
“«يَا ٱبْنَ آدَمَ، أَنْتَ سَاكِنٌ فِي وَسْطِ بَيْتٍ مُتَمَرِّدٍ، ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌ لِيَنْظُرُوا وَلَا يَنْظُرُونَ. لَهُمْ آذَانٌ لِيَسْمَعُوا وَلَا يَسْمَعُونَ، لِأَنَّهُمْ بَيْتٌ مُتَمَرِّدٌ.”
‮‮حِزْقِيَال‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭‬‬بل ان يسوع بنفسه قد ذكرهم بوضوح لتلاميذه 
“مِنْ أَجْلِ هَذَا أُكَلِّمُهُمْ بِأَمْثَالٍ، لِأَنَّهُمْ مُبْصِرِينَ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ، وَسَامِعِينَ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ وَلَا يَفْهَمُونَ. فَقَدْ تَمَّتْ فِيهِمْ نُبُوَّةُ إِشَعْيَاءَ ٱلْقَائِلَةُ: تَسْمَعُونَ سَمْعًا وَلَا تَفْهَمُونَ، وَمُبْصِرِينَ تُبْصِرُونَ وَلَا تَنْظُرُونَ. لِأَنَّ قَلْبَ هَذَا ٱلشَّعْبِ قَدْ غَلُظَ، وَآذَانَهُمْ قَدْ ثَقُلَ سَمَاعُهَا. وَغَمَّضُوا عُيُونَهُمْ، لِئَلَّا يُبْصِرُوا بِعُيُونِهِمْ، وَيَسْمَعُوا بِآذَانِهِمْ، وَيَفْهَمُوا بِقُلُوبِهِمْ، وَيَرْجِعُوا فَأَشْفِيَهُمْ.”

...لأجل كل الآذان الصماء
!!!أن تسمع مرة أخرى وأن تنصت لكل الإنذارات المحيطة بها
إنذارات تستعيدنا وتنقذنا عندما تأتي " الصدمة" ، عندما تهاجمنا الاختبارات
وعندما تتسلل الينا التجارب
وعندما...يزأر البحر بقوة ليَلتهم كل ما نتمسك به باعتزاز.. في أضعف لحظاتنا

!!آمين .. أن يبعث الروح القدس الحياة إلى أذنيك
