Driving a Parked Car

I recall as a kid, I used to jump earlier in my dad’s car; sit in the driver’s seat and start acting full force as if I were driving. I bended my body left and right in full action, holding the driving wheel with both hands, making the famous “Vrooom” noise of a speeding car with my mouth! With this focused look in my eyes, and exaggerated acting, I looked for sure quite a professional driver!
Then this “knock-knock” on the window brings me back to reality…and my dad asks me to jump aside for him to drive! It is now time to move…for real!!

Obviously you can not expect going anywhere driving a parked car…
so does living your life the same everyday…it takes you nowhere beyond where you are!

We all want to find our purpose and calling in life…
We all are looking for the next big meaning to our existence…
We all want to reach new depth of spirituality and relationship with God the Almighty…
but we do this while driving a parked car!

Did you ever ask yourself if you REALLY want to drive or just want to look like driving?
May be you just like how you look driving a car…even if it is not moving!
You got so content and happy seeing people cheer you in this “act” of driving…despite you are standing “still”!

“Remember this: There are some terrible times coming in the last days. People will love only themselves and money. They will be proud and boast about themselves. They will abuse others with insults. They will not obey their parents. They will be ungrateful and against all that is pleasing to God.

They will go on pretending to be devoted to God, but they will refuse to let that “devotion” change the way they live. Stay away from these people!” 2 Timothy‬ ‭3:1-2, 5‬ ‭ERV‬‬

Jesus is calling you today

to roll the stone off the tomb of Lazarus
to fill the vessels with water...
to Throw your Net…
to bring your 5 loaves of bread…
to Step on Water…
to take a step of faith…before it is too late!

!سايق عربية راكنة

فاكر وأنا صغير، كنت أحب أجري على العربية وأركب أول واحد في كرسي القيادة وأبتدي "أعيش الدور" إني سايق بجد...تلاقيني كلبشت في الدريكسيون بإيديا الاتنين وأقعدت أميل شمال ويمين وأعمل أصوات الڤروووم والبيييب بيييب الشهيرة غير طبعاً النقلات الوهمية اللي كنت بأنقلها! مافيش حاجة تصحيني من التمثيلية "السواق الماهر" دي غير صوت الخبط على زجاج العربية وأبويا بيقولي "يلا إرجع ورا...لازم نتحرك بجد"

من الطبيعي انك ماتستناش توصل أي حتة وأنت سايق عربية راكنة
 ومن الطبيعي برضه انك ماتستناش توصل لأي هدف بحياتك وأنت بتكرر أيامك زي ماهي من غير خطوة واحدة فعلية للأمام

كل شخص فينا عاوز يعرف هدف ومغزي حياته على الأرض
كل واحد فينا بيدور على المعنى في حياته وأيامه اللي جاية
كل واحد فينا عاوز يدخل لعمق جديد و بعيد في علاقته مع الله الآب الخالق
 لكن بنعوز كل دة وإحنا راكبين عربية راكنة للأسف

هل سألت نفسك في يوم ما لو حقيقي عاوز تسوق العربية و توصل بيها أماكن بعيدة
ولا مجرد مبسوط ومُكتَفي بشكلك وأنت سايق في مكانك والناس بتصقفلك تقولك برافو شكلك حلو في العربية (رغم انك للأسف راكن)

...يسوع بيدعوك النهاردة انك تسوق حياتك بجد...انك تدحرج الحجر من على قبر لعازر
...انك تملأ الأجران ماء
...انك تلقي الشبكة
...انك تقدم الخمس خبزات
...انك تخطو على المياة
...انك تتحرك من سكونك وتأخذ خطوة إيمان في الحقول
!! قبل ما يفوت الأوان و تلاقي نفسك راكن في نفس المكان
