Are you Afraid...or may be just Lazy?

Mark Twain has a famous quote about regrets: "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did so."

In Matthew 25, the famous Parable of the talents (مثل الوزنات), Jesus tells us the story of a man who went on a travel and gave his workers each a sum of money (talents-which were a monetary measure in times of Jesus) to get it back upon his come back. The first two servants worked hard, invested the money and gave him back double the sum they received.
The third worker, took the money and buried it all in the ground...and kept it there till his master's return. At their first confrontation, the servant acted as follows:
1- started blaming his environment, the external factors
2- He did hide behind his fear of his master's reaction and expectation...so decided to play it safe and bury the money!

Here is the shocking reality...The Master did not debate or start defending himself..nor he blamed him for being afraid and not trusting His master...
He blamed him and called him in a shameful way "You Wicked and Lazy Servant!!!"

What? Bad and Lazy?! How can that be dear Lord? This "faithful" servant kept his "talent" in safety, hiding it from criticism, risk and action to hand it back to you almost brand new!

Yes...this is the truth in His Book and His way!
He created you and me to do His works on earth...
He wants servants and workers ready to dig their feet in the soil and seed the love...
He wants people ready to Salt a tasteless world
He seeks people who want to shine His light in darkness...
Men and women bold enough to take the risk, work and sweat hard to double the investment He entrusted them with...I am a finance guy and i know how hard it is to double your capital!

May I please ask you today in tour silent time of prayer/meditation/reflection to dig deep and ask His Holy Spirit in you to guide and show the multitudes of talents you have to use for His glory and the prosperity of this world. Believe me, even if you believe you have little talents...the little you have is huge and almost a dream for so many...
God gives to each one according to his ability...

Come to Him humbly and ask Him to open ways for you to deploy and invest your talents...HE WILL TAKE PLACES YOU NEVER THOUGHT YOU WOULD STEP INTO...
Start investing by prayer...
And When you meet Him, you will hear Him tell you:
“Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little, I will put you in charge of many things; share in the joy of your master." MATTHEW‬ ‭25:21‬ ‭

Are you ready to invest your talents...or will you be content when He calls you "Wicked and Lazy"?!

انت جبان... ولا مجرد "كسلان"؟

مارك توين الأديب الأمريكي له مقولة معروفة "بعد عشرين سنة من دلوقت، حتلاقي نفسك ندمان أكتر على اللي انت ما عملتوش، مش على اللي انت عملته"

في مثل الوزنات في متى ٢٥، يسوع حكى عن شخص قبل ما يسافر اعطى الخدم عنده وزنات (فلوس/مواهب/قدرات/امكانيات) و رجع لهم بعد فترة. اتنين من الخدام تاجروا بوزناتهم و كبروها مرتين.
 الخادم التالت أخد فلوس سيده و دفنها في الارض و ما عملش بيها حاجة. في أول مواجهة مع سيده، اتصرف كالآتي:
١- دور على حجج و اسباب في الظروف الخارجية يبرر بيها موقفه.
!٢- استخبى وراء خوفه من غضب سيده...فضَّل يبقى في الأمان (safe sidee)

و هنا تيجي الصاعقة...السيد ما جادلوش في الاسباب الخارجية و في الدفاع عن نفسه و ما عاتبوش على خوفه و قاله ليه تخاف مني؟
!!! بالعكس دة عاتبه و وصفه بوصف مرعب...وصف انا مش عايز أعيش و أموت بيه...قال له "أيها العبد الشرير و الكسلان"

معقولة يا ربي؟ يعني العبد عشان اكتفي ان يحتفظ بالوزنة لنفسه سليمة و متصانة لحد ما يقابلك بقى شرير و كسلان؟ دة ما ضيعهاش و فِضِل محافظ عليها و مشي جنب الحيط...يطلع في الآخر شرير و كسلان؟

ايوة، هي دي الحقيقة مع الهنا اللي خلقك و خلقني نعمل عمله على الأرض...هو بيدور على فعلة و خدام...على ناس مصدقة و بتحلم تغير العالم للأفضل.
ناس مصدقة ان ليها طعم في الحياة زي الملح في الاكل
ناس بتدور على الظلمة عشان تطردها و تنورها
!ناس جريئة و مستعدة تتعب و تجازف و تتاجر بوزناتها و مواهبها
 هل تفتكروا الخدام اللي تاجروا بوزناتهم ما خافوش و ما غامروش و ما تعبوش عشان يضاعفوا "راس المال اللي اعطاهم لهم سيدهم"...انا راجل مالي و عارف كويس اوي مخاطر السوق عشان يحققوا المكسب دة

أرجوك، و انت في وقت تأملك/خلوتك/صلاتك...راجع نفسك و اطلب من روحه اللي جواك انه يكشف لك عن الوزنة و الموهبة...صدقني مهما كانت في نظرك قليلة، فهى عظيمة أوي و كبيرة اوي و ممكن تكون حلم بعيد لناس كتير! وابسط و اهم متاجرة تبتدي بيها هي الصلاة.

:اطلب باتضاع و بالقليل اللي عندك وهو حيفتحلك أبواب ما كنتش تفكر فيها...و حيقولك
“فقالَ لهُ سيِّدُهُ: نِعِمّا أيُّها العَبدُ الصّالِحُ والأمينُ! كُنتَ أمينًا في القَليلِ فأُقيمُكَ علَى الكَثيرِ. اُدخُلْ إلَى فرَحِ سيِّدِكَ.”

!هل مستعد تتاجر بوزنتك ولا حتكتفي بلقب "شرير و كسلان"
