Learning Curve

I love it when Leila comes with her homework for correction and gets surprised that I DO NOT get surprised by her mistakes and are at her faults. On the contrary, I accept and start correcting them and teach her how to avoid this trap next time! She loves the fact that I recognize her “Learning curve” and her mistakes…I knew she would before she put a pen on her paper…It is all new to her! I specially like it when she starts spotting her own mistakes and corrects them when we are just there together…brings me a confidence smile in her growth and understanding!
In all aspects of our lives, we go through this amazing concept: Learning Curve! It is basically the speed by which we learn and grow into dominating and mastering a subject; we always start slow, doubtful, we fall, we stand, and Grow…then we Run and fly without wings!
God is there waiting for our “homework correction” moment, He is equally NOT surprised by our mistakes. He saw it all coming, but longs for this intimate moment of checking, guiding and witnessing our Spiritual “Learning curve”. in First letter of John, he declared to us the beauty we have in our Loving Father seeking our return and checks with Him:

“We should live in the light, where God is. If we live in the light, we have fellowship with each other, and the blood sacrifice of Jesus, God’s Son, washes away every sin and makes us clean. If we say that we have no sin, we are fooling ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, God will forgive us. We can trust God to do this. He always does what is right. He will make us clean from all the wrong things we have done.” 1 John 1:7-9
“ولكن إنْ سلكنا في النّورِ كما هو في النّورِ، فلَنا شَرِكَةٌ بَعضِنا مع بَعضٍ، ودَمُ يَسوعَ المَسيحِ ابنِهِ يُطَهِّرُنا مِنْ كُلِّ خَطيَّةٍ. إنْ قُلنا: إنَّهُ ليس لنا خَطيَّةٌ نُضِلُّ أنفُسَنا وليس الحَقُّ فينا. إنِ اعتَرَفنا بخطايانا فهو أمينٌ وعادِلٌ، حتَّى يَغفِرَ لنا خطايانا ويُطَهِّرَنا مِنْ كُلِّ إثمٍ.”

Accept your "Learning Curve", Come to Him, No wrong is too big to surprise the Master of all!

احب .. في كل مره تأتي " ليله" بواجباتها المدرسيه لكي اراجعها معها ، ان اري علي وجهها نظره التعجب لاني لم افاجأ بأخطاءها ، بل بكل هدوء اقبلها و اصححها معها و اعلمها كيف تتفادي مثل هذه الاخطاء فيما بعد ..

تفرح لأني " اتفهم " انها مازالت تتعلم . و انني اتفهم her learning curve.
كلما تعلمت كلما تفادت مرات الانحدار .. ومع الوقت اصبحت وفيما هي تضع واجباتها امامي تكتشف اخطاءها سريعاً و بنفسها و تشير اليها و تصلحها حتي دون ان انطق بكلمه .. اعرف عندها انها تنمو و تتعلم .. و ابتسم نحوها بثقه .
وفي كل مجالات الحياه، نمر بهذا المفهوم " منحني التعلم "
عليه نراقب سرعه قدرتنا علي التعلم و النمو نحو التمكن و التميز .
و هكذا كلنا نبدأ ببطء و شك وتردد .. و نسقط و نعاود الوقوف .. فننمو .. ثم نجري بل ونحلق بلا اجنحه .
والله ايضاً .. بالمثل .. لا تفاجئه زلاتنا ، بل كثيراً ما يتوقعها و ينتظر بكل اشتياق تلك اللحظه التي نلجأ فيها اليه فيفحصها و يصححها و يعدل فيها .. ثم بفرح يتابع اولاده في نمو روحي نحوه.

بل ويعلن لنا في محبته ، و اشتياقه ان نكشف انفسنا في نور صلاحه ..

فلنأتي سريعاً امام معلمنا الصالح عالمين انه لا توجد خطيه كبيرة بما يكفي .. لا توجد خطيه اكبر من غفرانه و تطهيره ..

The 2nd Liners

In all aspects of life we meet “The 2nd Liners”, they are the group pf people less “known” or less “popular”, the ones that are not up to the level of the Stardom famous names we know by heart. In football teams, you will probably know 2 or three names, the Super Stars doing great and the rest of the team, the Second Liner, is just the “rest of the team” with a number each. In a movie three or four names (the super actors on the poster probably) are known the rest have their names written in a scrolling long list of credits, at school…at work…everywhere we meet the second liners…the not good enough…whose names are just…unknown!

Zacchaeus (the tax collector), a short man who obviously was not by any means on the list of “Good names” and “Super Star” from a spiritual and religious stand point, a Name that the villagers would not consider on a First line not even a second liner when it comes to value and “Godly relationship”.
BUT Jesus called him BY NAME!
“And when Jesus reached the place, He looked up and said to him, Zacchaeus, hurry and come down; for I must stay at your house today. So he hurried and came down, and he received and welcomed Him joyfully.” Luke 19:5-6 AMP
“فلَمّا جاءَ يَسوعُ إلَى المَكانِ، نَظَرَ إلَى فوقُ فرآهُ، وقالَ لهُ: «يا زَكّا، أسرِعْ وانزِلْ، لأنَّهُ يَنبَغي أنْ أمكُثَ اليومَ في بَيتِكَ». فأسرَعَ ونَزَلَ وقَبِلهُ فرِحًا.” لوقا 19:5-6 

Jesus has a special heart seeking the 2nd and 3rd liners…He came to help the unwanted, the heal to unnoticed, to call free the burdened and the troubled…and call by name left aside!
No matter how you feel you stand spiritually, even if you are a 10th Liner, God knows you by name and will call you and Come to have dinner with you. Are you hungry for Him? Do you want to receive Him? Zacchaeus gave Him a sign and climbed the tree to see Jesus, Give Him a sign today and NOW and He will make of you a 1st Liner on His “Love Spreading” team!

Back to School Worry List!


I believe all mothers´ worry these days is focused on one thing: Back to School. You surely agree with me that one of the Big items on their “worry list” is Classmates!
“So tell me dear who is with you in class? Who is sitting next to you, behind you, in front? Oh really, you have to change your seat, he is a naughty boy, he won’t let you sit in peace. Oh, this is quite a troublesome group, I have to change your seat or even your class!”
That´s exactly why some mothers find their own ways to pre-assign their kids into a certain class, to ensure the right “Entourage and Ambiance” to success in this new year. They know how bad habits are so easy to cling, stick and become part of their kids behaviour…just by sitting around the wrong group of classmates.
Wish we were so keen ourselves in choosing our Life´s “classmates”…Negative classmates will pull you down, Fearful ones will get their fear in you, Active ones will get you moving with them…not only people but even content, what you read, see and accept your eyes to feed upon will end up shaping your thoughts, behaviour and will STICK to you!

David the psalmist knew this fact and consciously departed from acts or classmates that would grasp hold of him and keep him off track:
“I will set no base or wicked thing before my eyes. I hate the work of them who turn aside [from the right path]; it shall not grasp hold of me.”
Psalm 101:3 AMP
“لا أضَعُ قُدّامَ عَينَيَّ أمرًا رَديئًا. عَمَلَ الزَّيَغانِ أبغَضتُ. لا يَلصَقُ بي.”
المَزاميرُ ٣:١٠١

I call that today we review in prayer and in light of God´s grace which class are we attending? What habits are clinging to ourselves? Are we letting our eyes and hearts be fed whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— to think about such things (Philippians 4:8)

Roaring Seas

Roaring seas surrounding ships don’t make them sink…but a hole as small as a coin can be the beginning of the end! So for the temptations of this world, they surround you, attack you but shall not find a hole in the wall of your heart!
Guard your hearts, Rule your spirit, Don't let temptations of the world conquer you!
